OCTOBER 2, 2017 | PRESS RELEASE |
(COSTA MESA, CA, October 2, 2017) – Envision Financial Systems, Inc., a leading provider of real-time mutual fund shareholder recordkeeping technology, was named a finalist in four categories for the 2017 Mutual Fund Service & Technology Awards by Fund Intelligence. Envision was shortlisted for awards in the following categories:
- Best Technology Provider Overall
- Best Clearing and Settlement Technology
- Best Technology/Infrastructure Initiative
- Best Mobile Application
The Fund Intelligence Mutual Fund Service & Technology Awards recognize the achievements of US mutual fund service providers including administrators, custodians, legal specialists, accounting groups, and technology providers. Winners must demonstrate growth and innovation over the course of the last year.
Envision Financial Systems is being recognized for its innovative new FundKeeper platform, which was created in collaboration with U.S. Bancorp Fund Services. FundKeeper is a full-service mutual fund trading and shareholder servicing solution that provides financial intermediaries with a new approach to supporting mutual-fund-only accounts. Traditionally, intermediaries have held these accounts directly with mutual fund families—and suffered business inefficiencies and lack of control. Or, they’ve been forced to “go to traditional brokerage” with accounts unsuited to conventional brokerage fees and complexity. FundKeeper is an alternative to both these options.
FundKeeper leverages Envision’s PowerAgent technology, which consists of a shareholder recordkeeping and subaccounting system, along with fully integrated technology to facilitate the real-time exchange of information between end users and the firm. PowerAgent provides a mobile internet shareholder and rep portal, imaging and workflow processing, and real-time investor suitability checks.
Said Satnam Gambhir, CEO of Envision, “We’re honored to be recognized in four categories for this year’s Mutual Fund Service & Technology Awards and we feel it’s a testament to the truly groundbreaking solution that FundKeeper brings to the industry. We believe FundKeeper provides broker dealers, registered investment advisors and other intermediary firms with a much more efficient and cost-effective way to offer mutual funds to their clients.”
Winners will be announced on October 3rd at an awards dinner at the iconic Pierre Hotel in New York.
